- Our Company -

We are known as a global centre of excellence for the outsourcing of finance and accounting within the hospitality and catering industries.

Over the past years, with our partners, we have successfully built a specialised and close-knit team to cater for small to mid-sized hospitality and catering businesses. We have over 12 finance colleagues in Sri Lanka and 3 operational colleagues here in the UK.

Our services are easy to deploy, highly affordable, and are readily scaled up from basic accounting and payroll functions to deliver greatly expanded value as your needs – and your company – grow.

Our current clients range from £0.5 million turnover businesses to £25 million, ranging from independent bars and restaurants to high-end luxury hotels, apartments and private members' clubs.

In 2023, we joined On The Spot Tax Accountant network, the only franchise in the UK run by a Chartered Tax Adviser and means our services are now all under one roof to improve efficiency and accessibility even more for our clients.

Together, we offer sound, practical business and tax advice, getting to know your business inside out and becoming more of a trusted business partner than simply producing accounts and fancy reports.

- Our Foundation -

Clientline was founded by Ikram Naim, who started his career in 1999 in the hospitality sector in his native homeland of Sri Lanka.

Ikram permanently relocated himself to the UK and continued his working career in the hospitality and catering industry whilst studying for his Business Management and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification.

Qualified as a ACMA CGMA with Chartered Institute of Management Accounts, he spent his early years working in operations ranging from Junior to Senior Managements roles within hospitality and catering, before moving across to Finance.

He started his Finance career with Red Carnation Hotels, he also went on to work alongside renowned Chef Nuno Mendes since the launch of original Viajante in 2010, which would later be awarded a Michelin Star.

Ikram also has been a most integral part of the rebirth of Century Soho - an exclusive private members club in the heart of Soho - from September 2012 to February 2016, where he led as Head of Finance. He recommended and consulted to the board with regards to business and financial matters.

He also worked as Finance Consultant on a number of short projects more recently, including setting up finance functions from the ground up and improving and streamlining existing set ups.
